We are deeply saddened to hear about this bus crash. According to various news reports, it sounds like a church group may have been on the bus at the time.
Charter Bus Accidents
Charter buses and tour buses are regular sights on San Fernando Valley freeways such as the 405. They transport gamblers, church groups, tourists and students. The most common cause of injury involving a charter bus is being hit as a pedestrian, however, charter buses do crash from time to time. When the crash occurs on a freeway or interstate, there are often multiple injuries.
It’s important to remember that if you were injured on a tour bus or charter bus, the crash isn’t your fault. You should also know that some charter buses have limited liability and if there are several people injured in the crash time is of the essence.
Call an experienced attorney after an injury.
Contact a seasoned accident lawyer after any crash involving a serious injury. An ethical, experienced attorney will provide you with legal advice which is in your best interest. In southern California, initial consultations are provided free of charge. If you mesh well with the attorney and it makes sense to retain them to represent you, they will seek compensation on your behalf. This is often necessary as insurance companies will often do whatever they can to delay, deny or minimize your claim. Some will even blame you for your injuries and examine your past medical history. Don’t let that happen to you.
